  1. Dear NAFDAC
I am pleased to know that you have the interest of Nigerian as regards to life preservation at heart.
Am just here to say that for a problem to be solved, you have to first discover THE UNDERLYING CAUSE OF THAT PROBLEM. I wrote that in capital letter because that is the only way to bring about permanent solution. When you look at the age bracket of the those suicide victims, you will discover they are mostly between the age of (18-40) this group are not hard to locate, you find them in (schools, work places, churches, markets) find out what this group long for and what they all have in common, the obstacles they encounter that restrict them from their goals or dreams actualization. People at each point of life battle with a lot psychological distresses that ranges from (1) acceptance (2) motivation (3) support etc. When you brake this few down you will figure out that each of them not handled well can result to (Stress, frustration e.t.c) and we all know that stress on its own is a giant killer. For example you may hear that someone killed himself because his girl friend left him but when u actually look at the underlying cause of his death you may discover that this is someone that has been through a lot of distress in the past now longing for some sense of belonging and acceptance. As a Psychologist what I can suggest here is that the psychological well-being of people should be made a priority, we humans are all we have. You NAFDAC as a body can pressure the Government on the need for Psychological evaluation and treatment, that is the only way you can let this citizens know that they are NOT ALONE in the problems they are going through. Sniper Repackaging is not the solution, there are lots of death traps people can easily revert to that are even better and cheaper than purchasing snipers in stores if they want to end their life. STRESS DISORDER IS REAL.every life is important.
